Our gold-plated pieces (24K and 18K) are crafted with premium base metals and a genuine gold layer, and with the right care, they'll stay beautiful for years. A few simple habits go a long way:

Do

Store pieces in a dry, airtight pouch or the box they arrived in, away from direct sunlight.
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove natural oils.
Put jewelry on last, after makeup, perfume, and hair products.
Take pieces off before sleeping, exercising, or swimming.

Avoid

Water: chlorine, salt water, and even prolonged exposure to tap water can wear down the gold plating over time.
Chemicals: perfume, lotion, hairspray, and cleaning products can cause tarnishing or discoloration.
Friction & impact: avoid contact with rough surfaces, gym equipment, or activities that could scratch the plating.
Harsh cleaning: never use jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive cloths.

Caring for Moissanite Pieces

Moissanite is a durable stone, but to keep it sparkling:

Clean gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush to remove buildup.
Avoid exposing set pieces to harsh chemicals or extreme temperature changes.
Store separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching.

If It Tarnishes

Light tarnish is normal with wear over time and can often be gently buffed with a soft polishing cloth. If your piece shows plating wear or discoloration under normal use, it's covered by our Lifetime Warranty — just reach out and we'll repair or replace it.
